What we collect

• Contact details you give us directly — name, phone number, and email if provided — when you enquire about a listing, request a construction quote, post a property, or create an account.
• Enquiry content — the property or project you asked about, your budget, timeline and requirements, and any message you send us.
• Usage data — pages viewed, searches run, and device/browser information, collected automatically to keep the site working and to understand what people are looking for.
• Photos and documents you upload when posting a property, for the purpose of publishing and verifying that listing.

Why we collect it

• To respond to your enquiry — connecting you with a listing owner, or with our team for a construction quote.
• To verify listings before publishing them, including the "Engineer Verified" inspection.
• To operate the site — search, filters, saved listings, and account access.
• To send you updates you've asked for — a callback, a quote, a saved-search alert.

Who we share it with

For property enquiries, your contact details go to the listing's owner or to our team — never sold to a third party.

For construction quote requests specifically, we operate as a lead-matching service: your name and phone number may be shared with up to 3 verified partner contractors from our network so they can contact you directly with a quote. This only happens when you submit a quote request, and only after you've ticked the consent checkbox on that form — it is never bundled into a general "accept terms" checkbox, and you can decline it and still browse the site.

We do not sell personal data to advertisers or data brokers.

How long we keep it

Enquiry and account data is kept for as long as your account is active, or as needed to resolve an enquiry, plus a reasonable period for legal and accounting requirements. You can request deletion at any time — see "Your rights" below.

Your rights under the DPDP Act

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct or update inaccurate data.
• Withdraw consent for construction-lead sharing at any time going forward.
• Request erasure of your data, subject to any legal retention requirement.
• Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.

For any complaint about how your data has been handled, contact our team at villas@tamilnaduvillas.in or call +91 79047 63779. A named grievance officer with a dedicated contact channel will be appointed and published here ahead of public launch, per the DPDP Act's requirements.
